Customers consistently highlight the quality and value of the food, complemented by a pleasant, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. While the food occasionally takes longer to be served, it is generally regarded as worth the wait. Some feedback suggests minor improvements in specific items like jacket potato fillings, but overall, Sorrento is recognized as a charming local gem that offers satisfying meals and a comfortable setting ideal for both casual and special outings.
Love their food. Seafood spaghetti and pasta carbonara taste really good. Fried calamari is good. Prawn cocktail salad with avocado is nice. Bolo de bolacha (biscuit/cookie cake) tastes lovely and authentic. Great portion sizes with decent prices.Jacket potato fillings could be better but not bad. Service by the waitresses is good but food takes a bit long.Overall, a lovely, authentic Italian/Portuguese restaurant that I would recommend.
If you're looking for a lovely night out for good food & evening better service THIS is the little local spot!!Nice staff w/ great recommendations that's we'll definitely be back for, especially biscuit cake
I’ve been here twice and have to say the food is amazing! You get your moneys worth here. The lady (I unfortunately don’t know her name) that serves the customers is so kind and really sweet, as for the chef? Absolute legend! I know I’ve already said this but the food is really amazing. Definitely worth going in there!
Found this place for breakfast by chance with my girlfriend. LOVED IT!!!Staff excellent, food amazing, environment beautiful and the price was very satisfying.
What a lovely gem of a cafe/ bistro in the heart of West Norwood. Lovely Mediterranean/ Italian decor. Light and exceptionally clean with a quiet atmosphere where you could easily sit comfortably enjoying their homestyle delicious food with an Italian twist to meals. I had the Roast Lamb with mixed vegetables and roast potatoes it's was tasty and a good portion enough to satisfy my male appetite, the Roast potatoes were exceptionally good as they were hot crispy and firmly fluffy inside with a twist to the taste buds in form of a light garlic and herb flavouring. The service was friendly and accommodating which was much appreciated in today's world of a lack of customer service and standards. Thank you for a pleasantly delicious dining experience.I will definitely visit again when I am in the neighbourhood.
We were in a rush and we let them know and they were so accommodating! Lovely people and lovely food at very fair prices. I'd highly recommend and looking forward to getting back there when not in such a rush!
Great hidden gem in this side of London. Family ran, tasty food. No posh silly stuff. Go for the dish of the day. Nice staff and great garden at the back
Great local spot for a quick pasta dish or a custard tart. West Norwood gem.
